TEMPORARY Part-Time Admitting/Records Clerk
(Maternity Leave Coverage)

Manitouwadge General Hospital is currently accepting applications for the temporary part-time position of Admitting/Records Clerk.

Salary:                 To be determined

Qualifications:  Preference will be given to the candidate with the following qualifications:

  1. Office Administration/Medical Office Assistant Diploma and/or two years of work-related experience
  2. Knowledge of security & privacy practices for handling and storage of confidential patient documents
  3. Knowledge of medical terminology
  4. Knowledge of patient chart locating, charging and retrieving of files
  5. Ability to analyze information and problems and develop recommendations and/or solutions
  6. Ability to prioritize and maintain confidential information
  7. Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook)
  8. Individual must be self-motivated, possess excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
