MANITOUWADGE GENERAL HOSPITAL H1N1 FLU ALERT
The Manitouwadge General Hospital continues to screen individuals at Admitting for the H1N1 virus.
If you present with a cough, you will be asked to wear a mask as a preventative measure to ensure that the health and protection of our patients and staff members is maintained.
We are also asking, at this stage, that anyone experiencing fever or respiratory systems should delay visiting patients until they are feeling better.
The Manitouwadge General Hospital is working very closely with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit and is following updates issued by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
As of Friday, January 22 at 4:00 p.m., the Manitouwadge General Hospital has no confirmed cases of H1N1.
