Physiotherapy
The Manitouwadge General Hospital Rehabilitation Department consists of 1 full time Physiotherapist, 1 Rehabilitation Assistant, & 1 part-time Occupational Therapist.
The Rehabilitation Department boasts a spacious area equipped with a wide variety of cardiovascular and strength training equipment, various treatment modalities, and a hydrotherapy whirlpool. There are two private treatment rooms, three semi-private treatment areas, and one mechanical traction room.
The Rehabilitation team operates in a general practice setting ranging from acute in-patients, chronic long-term care residents, and general out-patient conditions.
Those individuals requiring rehabilitation services must be referred by a local physician prior to commencing Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy services
