National Volunteer Week
April 23, 2021
On behalf of Santé Manitouwadge Health and the Community of Manitouwadge I would like to say “Thank You” to all Volunteers for everything you do and the efforts you make to help others whether it be in or out of the hospital.
To the Meals on Wheels volunteers, to our awesome Auxilliary volunteers and our My-Ride drivers – Thank You! To the SMH Board of Directors – Thank You for all the support you provide.
The pandemic alone plus the collaboration required to make a vaccination clinic work and run smoothly cannot be overlooked. Thank you to the Township and the Volunteer Fire Department for being with us during this crucial time.
To everyone who helps others and offers time or assistance, even though you may not be affiliated with an organized Volunteer Program – your efforts are not lost. We also want to recognize the everyday “volunteerism” that displays your care and compassion shown to others –Thank You!
“The National Volunteer Week theme for 2021, The Value of One, The Power of Many, reflects on the awe-inspiring acts of kindness by millions of individuals AND the magic that happens when we work together towards a common purpose.”
Keep up the excellent work – You are appreciated by many.
Working Together – Protecting our Community.
