The Manitouwadge Family Health Team offers acute and episodic appointments for various medical reasons. Acute and episodic appointments may consist of, but are not limited to:
- Ear Flushing
- Allergy Injections (by prescription only)
- Vitamin B12 Injections (by prescription only)
- Other injections and immunizations (as appropriate/by prescription)
- Home Oxygen Assessments
- Diabetes Education Program
- Footcare
- Chronic Disease management (COPD, Hypertension)
- Weight checks
- Phone calls for patient results (if appropriate)
- Friendly calls
Appointments vary in time ranging from 10-60 minutes, depending on the reason for the appointment.

Online appointment booking gives patients the ability to book, reschedule, and cancel their own appointments instead of calling! Online appointment booking is currently limited to Nursing and Social Work services. If you do not see the appointment type you would like to schedule, please call the Manitouwadge Family Health Team and the receptionist will help you book your appointment.
