The Manitouwadge Family Health Team social worker offers a Grief Recovery Program to help guide individuals through the grieving process. People grieve for many reasons; it does not necessarily mean the loss of a loved one. Grief and loss is a normal process but there are times when individuals may need more support during this time.

The Grief Recovery Program is a 7 week program in which the patient and the social worker meet once per week to work through the process of grief and loss. Throughout the process the social worker and the patient will use both educational and emotional support tools to help the patient transition through the grieving process.

Appointments are booked for 60 minutes in length, once per week, for 7 consecutive weeks.
