Wound care appointments are available through the Manitouwadge Family Health Team with the registered nursing staff. Wound care appointment duration and frequency are determined on an individual basis.

Should there be concerns or a complication in regards to wound healing, the registered nurse is able to communicate directly with the patient’s primary care provider for further guidance and direction.

Should there be a need for wound care on the weekend or afterhours, integration with Santé Manitouwadge Health has allowed for continuity of care by the ability to share physician’s orders and wound treatment history.
